4-15-12: We
headed to Hunterstown Speedway for the
Burris Money Series. The day got started off
a little rough with only getting one lap in
before Kyle pulled off the track with some
issues, so we had some work to do and hit
the track for the second practice the kart
was getting better each time he went on the
track but was still missing something. Time
for qualifying in the Animal 340 Kyle
was 22nd out of 39 and in the Animal 375 he
was 18th out of 45. So that ment he had to
race his way into the show and he did just
that. He started both races in the 20th
position. So we went to work on the chassis
and tires Kyle started 20th and was on the
move when the checkered flag flew Kyle was
in the 12th position. Went back made some
more changes, again starting in the 20th
position Kyle was on the move he was driving
great and the kart was handling well. Kyle
was able to cross the checkers in the 7th
position not to bad after struggling at the
start of the day.
1-6-12: Kyle
and the crew headed to Williamston NC.
for the 4th annual dirt indoor karting
championships. This was the night for
everything new a new chassis, new track
and new tires (maxxis). Being on a new brand
of chassis and tires he normally don't race
Kyle hit the track and was real loose so we
had to make some changes and he was able to
qualify 12th. Kyle and the crew made
some more changes and went out for the
feature. Starting in mid pack Kyle started
making his way to the front, with two to go
Kyle was in the 7th position and still on
the move but ran out of time coming across
the checkers in the 4th position.
